When you apply, the fund collects your name, email address, course, year, answers, and any links you type.

The fund uses this information to consider your application, to send the verification code, and to contact you about an interview or an offer. You ask the fund to do this when you apply. The fund also has a legitimate interest in recruiting members.

The fund stores applications in its own system in the European Union, outside the United Kingdom. The fund relies on the United Kingdom's adequacy regulations for the European Economic Area for that hosting. Until the end of 11 October 2026, London time, the equity apply link uses an external application form.

Officers of the fund read applications during recruitment. The fund's hosting provider hosts the fund's system. The external form provider hosts that equity form until the date above.

If you are unsuccessful, the fund keeps the application for 12 months after the role closes.

You can ask the fund for a copy of your information. You can ask it to correct that information, to delete it, or to restrict its use. You can object to the use described here. The fund needs your name, email address, course, year, and answers to consider an application. If you do not provide them, the fund cannot take the application forward.
